Job Brief:
• Facilitating Digital Literacy and Computation skills among students either at school or at community learning centre.
• Working with students and families to maintain high attendance of students at the school/centre for Digital Literacy and Computing Program.

Responsibilities:
• Effective delivery of Digital Literacy and Computing Module with adolescents studying in standard 6th- 10th in school or community learning centre. (as per project)
• Effective delivery of various activities for enhancing Digital skills with children studying in standard 6th to 10th.
• To effectively handle troubleshooting in digital devices used and setting up technical assistance mechanisms for smooth implementation of program.
• To prepare yearly, monthly and weekly plans to ensure timely completion of desired learning objectives outlined in project.
• To prepare everyday lesson plans to carry out various activities effectively simultaneously.
• To prepare activity planner and worksheets to enable children to carry out computing program effectively.
• To arrange learning activities involving digital learning platforms, basic fundamentals of computers and coding with help of self-learning materials.
• To create a congenial learning environment which encourages collaborative joyful learning among children to increase their interest in digital learning.
• To organize activities that enhance logical thinking and critical thinking among children.
• To engage with parents quarterly and update them on the progress of their child’s progress.
• To supervise and provide support to the Community Co-ordinators in delivery of Community Connect Tool Kit aimed at developing a supportive eco system (Parents, SMC Members, Community at large) for the adolescent in the community.
• To participate in the capacity building programs as per the project design
• To provide constant feedback/ learning’s on the basis of implemented curriculum to help refine the curriculum
• To maintain records of daily attendance, daily activities conducted by children individually and in respective group.
• To maintain MIS records as per the prescribed formats
• To document and provide timely and quality updates and reports to key stakeholders regularly
• To support and facilitate data collection for monitoring and evaluation purposes
• To keep oneself updated on all the developments in safety rules, regulation child rights and protection and ensuring its integration in programs
• To ensure effective communication and reporting upward and down the line of all matters related to the efficiency and effectiveness of the program
• To do capacity building of community coordinators from time to time
• To facilitate/organize/participate in events, visits as required

Desired Competencies:
• Basic communication skills (written and oral) in regional language and English
• Good facilitation skills
• Working in a rural setting
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team; and with all levels of staff, volunteers, and school authorities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Outgoing and convincing
• Ability to learn about, commit to, and educate others on program mission and goals.
• Digital Literacy and Computing Skills

Qualification:
• Graduation in any stream and certification in technology related courses.
• About 1-2 years of experience in social sector/community program or working with children shall be preferable.
