About the Role
Debora Foundation India seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and experienced Senior Social Worker to lead and manage our grassroots initiatives in Doddaballapur taluk. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and overseeing skill development programs tailored for children and youth in rural communities.

Key Responsibilities
• Program Management: Design, execute, and monitor skill development and empowerment programs for rural children and youth.
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local community members, local authorities, schools, and youth organizations to drive program participation and success.
• Team Leadership: Lead on-ground field teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project delivery.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Assess program impact, gather qualitative/quantitative data, and prepare regular progress reports.
• Local Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders in the Doddaballapur region.

Eligibility Criteria & Key Requirements
• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field in Development Studies, Sociology, or Social Sciences (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing skill development or youth-focused programs in rural areas.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in both Kannada and English is mandatory.
• Residential Requirement: Willingness to reside locally in Doddaballapur to ensure close community connection and oversight.

Key Competencies
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and project management skills.
• Deep understanding of rural social dynamics and youth development challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Kannada and English.
