About Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS)
Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, dedicated to providing vocational skills, entrepreneurship development and livelihood opportunities to non-literate, neo-literate and school dropouts, particularly women, youth and disadvantaged communities. Through quality skill training and community engagement, JSS aims to enhance employability, promote self-employment and contribute to inclusive socio-economic development.

Educational Qualification
* Postgraduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Experience
* Minimum five years’ experience in Skill Development, Livelihood Promotion, Community Development, Rural Development, NGO Sector or Government-sponsored development programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, implement and monitor skill development programmes.
* Coordinate with Government departments, District Administration and partner institutions.
* Establish and supervise training centres.
* Ensure quality of training delivery and compliance with Government guidelines.
* Conduct field visits and programme monitoring.
* Mobilize beneficiaries and promote community participation.
* Prepare reports, MIS, documentation and programme records.
* Facilitate placement, entrepreneurship and self-employment initiatives.
* Assist the Director in programme planning and implementation.
* Perform any other official duties assigned by the Director.
Essential Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Good knowledge of MS Office and digital reporting.
* Ability to work independently under field conditions.
Mandatory Requirements
* Own two-wheeler.
* Valid two-wheeler driving licence.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the district.
* Women candidates having a scooty and valid driving licence are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
