POSITION TITLE AND GRADE:	Field Coordinator, Programs, Grade-4
POSITION TYPE/DURATION:	Fixed-Term (Two years with possibility of extension subject to organizational needs, satisfactory performance, and funds availability)
POSITION LOCATION:	ChildFund India, Vijayawada office
WORK SCHEDULE:	Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM , 40 hours per week

POSITION ROLE

Field Coordinator, Program will be responsible for supporting the implementation of program in the assigned locations. They will also provide technical support to the community mobilizers for quality implementation of the program. The Field Coordinator – Program (Education/Child Protection/ KML /SR) reports to the Senior Field Officer, Programs and responsible for planning and implementation of different projects at the partner location. This includes capacity building of partner staffs through internal and external resources as required.

Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India’s safeguarding principles and standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support Project team in implementation of the project.
Supervise and provide support for Community Mobilizers in delivering their tasks.
Coordinate implementation of the project activities in the field and ensure high impact with children.
Build capacity for Community Mobilizers on the required areas.
Provide technical support to Community Mobilizers for consultations with different stakeholders at community level.
Ensure application of child friendly tools during consultations and program monitoring.
Support in networking with relevant government bodies, national/ local organizations, Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender inclusive learning spaces, community-based forums, etc.
Ensure quality documentation and reporting of the project activities and outcomes.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

Education: Graduate in Social Work /Social Sciences/ Management/ other relevant discipline or equivalent experience

Work Experience: Minimum2 years of experience in program implementation and training.

Job Knowledge:Knowledge of Child and Community Development and specialization in one of the technical thematic areas- MCH/ Nutrition/ Education/ Child protection/ Livelihood etc. Participatory Methodologies and Micro- Planning

Skills and Abilities: Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Advanced knowledge of local language will be preferred. Strong computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications. Organized, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual. Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children. Capacity Building & Training skills

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA

Step 1: HR Pre-Screening:All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel.

Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points:

The written test will be conducted for the most highly rated applications.

Step 3: Based on the written test assessment, applications will be further shortlisted for Step 3 i.e. Interview. The applications will be evaluated by the Selection Panel for the final selection, based on the following evaluation factors for a maximum of 100 points.

Salary starts at INR 3,64,170 per annum plus benefits, with scope for consideration for adjustment in line with the experience, skills, and knowledge the selected candidate brings.
