Head Coach – Para Archery (High Performance)
Location: Secunderabad, Telangana
Engagement: Full-Time / Contractual / As per program requirement
Level: High Performance / Elite Athlete Development
Campus Visits: Frequency of visits may be negotiated based on program requirements.

Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Head Coach – Para Archery to lead the high-performance Para Archery program at Secunderabad.
The ideal candidate should have substantial National and/or International-level Archery experience, preferably with exposure to Para Archery and elite athletes competing at events such as the Paralympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Championships, Asian Championships or other recognized international competitions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the overall Para Archery high-performance program.
• Monitor athlete performance, development and training quality.
• Develop and implement athlete-specific training and competition plans or structure.
• Provide technical leadership in Recurve and/or Compound Archery.
• Guide athletes towards National, International and Paralympic-level competition.
• Mentor the coaching team, including the Assistant Coach.
• Advise on training methodology, equipment, tuning and performance analysis.
• Conduct periodic athlete and program reviews and recommend improvements.
• Ensure training is aligned with World Archery, Para Archery standards and International Paralympic committee

Desired Candidate Profile
• 10+ years of Archery coaching experience, preferably with Para Archery exposure.
• Proven experience working with elite, national or international-level athletes.
• Strong knowledge of World Archery and Para Archery rules, classification and competition standards.
• Expertise in Recurve, Compound and Indian bow Archery, athlete assessment and equipment tuning.
• Recognized national/international coaching certification preferred.

Competitive Background
* Candidates with National or International-level playing experience will be strongly preferred.
* Experience of participating in or representing a country/team at events such as Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Olympic/Paralympic Games, World Championships, Asian Championships or equivalent National/international competitions will be a significant advantage.

Para Archery Experience
Candidates should preferably have practical knowledge of:
• Para Archery classification and competition rules.
• Adaptive shooting techniques and athlete-specific requirements.
• Recurve and/or Compound Para Archery.
• Equipment adaptation, setup and tuning.
• Preparation of athletes for national and international competitions.

Leadership & Management
• Lead and mentor the coaching team.
• Set high-performance training standards and objectives.
• Monitor coaching effectiveness and athlete progression.
• Coordinate with the management and relevant support staff.
• Provide periodic performance updates and recommendations.

Ideal Candidate
A senior Archery/Para Archery professional with 10+ years of coaching experience, National/International competitive exposure, experience with elite athletes, and the ability to develop athletes towards international and Paralympic-level competition.
Candidates who have personally competed at major National/International events and subsequently developed a strong coaching career will be particularly preferred.
