• Support the Program Manager (PM) in planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination and review of agriculture and livelihood activities, and provide timely technical inputs as required.
• Provide technical guidance for agriculture, allied activities and livelihood promotion, with emphasis on sustainable, climate-resilient and income-enhancing practices.
• Support preparation and implementation of area-based agriculture and livelihood strategies based on community needs, local resources, market opportunities and identified gaps.
• Guide field staff and community-level functionaries, transfer key technical skills, and provide regular capacity building and technical backstopping.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor agriculture and livelihood activities to ensure quality, timely delivery and achievement of agreed outputs and outcomes.
• Support beneficiary identification and selection through transparent, inclusive and well-documented processes, with effective communication at community level.
• Facilitate farmer groups, producer groups, women groups and other community institutions to strengthen livelihoods, enterprise development and collective action.
• Promote market linkages, value-chain opportunities, enterprise development, access to services and convergence with relevant government schemes and institutions.
• Identify and support procurement of technical services, inputs and other requirements while maintaining appropriate quality standards.
• Liaise and collaborate with local authorities, agriculture and allied departments, financial institutions, technical agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to business-focused, entrepreneurship and community-based soft-skills training for beneficiaries and field teams.
