Suryoday Foundation is a sec 8 Not for Profit organization with headquarters in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. We work for promoting inclusive growth of Urban, Rural and Tribal low-income underserved communities and contributing towards their economic and social wellbeing. Our programs are focused on Financial Education, social security benefits, livelihoods and health. We have programs in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Gujarat.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven Program Field Executives to work with low-income communities especially Children (15 to 18 years) and their Parents (from low- income communities/ slums) Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Financial Literacy program will be implemented in communities/slums and schools.

Base Location: Ahmedabad
Field Operations: Slums in Ahmedabad

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mobilizing the women informal workers in slum Communities and around for Financial Education Training.
• Conducting financial education and digital literacy sessions and assisting them for product linkages with banks and post office.
• Identifying different resources and leaders in the community who will help in sustaining the program long term.
• Approaching schools/colleges for permissions to conduct Financial Education Training.
• Achieve the set targets with outcome and impact.
• Proper capturing data and data management.

Skills:
• Good communication skills required for training
• Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi (reading and writing) with working knowledge of English
• Have positive attitude to work with low-income communities
• Basic Computer literacy & mobile literacy and working knowledge of English is must.
• Should have positive attitude and temperament to work with School children and low-income communities.
• Open to work in the slums independently.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Any para-professionals, graduate or post graduate candidates would be preferred
• Essential: 0 – 2 years of experience
• This is field based position, willingness to work in the slum community and travel in the slum community. Only candidates open for field job should apply.
