Position Description:
  • The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the organisation's end-to-end talent acquisition function, ensuring that the organisation attracts, assesses and hires high-quality talent in a timely, cost-effective and consistent manner.
  • The role will own recruitment strategy, workforce hiring coordination, employer branding, recruitment processes, recruitment MIS and hiring quality. The role will also provide functional leadership to the recruitment team and oversee field hiring requirements, including functional coordination with field HR resources.
Key Responsibilities:
 
Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning:
  • Translate approved manpower requirements into recruitment plans.
  • Coordinate position approval documentation including approval forms, JDs and budget validation.
  • Support position coding and manpower plan validation.
  • Develop recruitment plans for critical and recurring positions.
  • Identify recruitment risks and recommend mitigation.
  • Track hiring requirements across central and field operations.
End-to-End Recruitment:
  • Lead and oversee sourcing through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, consultants, career pages and other channels.
  • Ensure effective resume screening and shortlisting.
  • Oversee assignment management where applicable.
  • Coordinate interviews and selection processes.
  • Ensure interview panels are appropriately briefed.
  • Ensure timely collection and documentation of interview feedback.
  • Coordinate reference checks as appropriate.
  • Support salary benchmarking and fitment recommendations.
  • Lead offer negotiation within approved parameters.
  • Coordinate final offer approval.
  • Ensure candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
Employer Branding:
  • Develop and strengthen the organisation's employer brand.
  • Ensure consistency of organisational messaging across recruitment channels.
  • Develop recruitment content and communication in partnership with the People & Organisation team.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the organisation's talent pipeline.
Candidate Experience:
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with candidates.
  • Maintain candidate engagement during notice periods.
  • Track candidate drop-offs and identify reasons.
  • Ensure joining confirmation and onboarding readiness.
  • Develop processes to improve candidate experience and conversion.
Background Verification & Pre-Joining:
  • Ensure formal background verification is initiated and completed as required.
  • Ensure pre-joining documentation is collected.
  • Coordinate with HR Operations for offer issuance and joining formalities.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from candidate selection to employee onboarding.
Recruitment MIS & Analytics:
  • Own recruitment MIS and hiring dashboards.
  • Track vacancies, sourcing, selection, offer and joining conversion.
  • Track recruitment TAT.
  • Monitor source effectiveness.
  • Analyse recruitment costs and vendor performance.
  • Provide monthly recruitment reports to the Head – People & Organisation.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Field Recruitment:
  • Lead recruitment for field operations in coordination with programme and operational leadership.
  • Ensure field vacancies are prioritised and filled within agreed timelines.
  • Provide functional direction to field HR recruitment resources.
  • Support field teams in sourcing, screening and interview processes.
  • Ensure recruitment standards and processes are consistently applied across field locations.
  • Maintain visibility of field hiring pipelines.
Team Management:
  • Provide functional direction, coaching and quality oversight to the Associate – HR / TA.
  • Review workload and recruitment priorities.
  • Establish recruitment standards and SOPs.
  • Build recruitment capability within the team.
  • Monitor individual and team performance.
Recruitment Vendors:
  • Manage recruitment consultants and external recruitment partners.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain appropriate recruitment vendor records.
  • Ensure vendor engagements are aligned with approved organisational processes.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digitisation of recruitment processes.
  • Strengthen recruitment workflows and documentation.
  • Improve candidate experience and recruitment TAT.
  • Ensure recruitment practices remain compliant with organisational policies.

Experience & Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources / Personnel Management / related discipline preferred, with substantial experience in talent acquisition. Experience managing recruitment across multiple locations, field operations or high-volume hiring environments will be an advantage.
