VATSALYA, a not-for-profit organisation working in the areas of health, gender equality and social development, invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) cum Accountant for its Targeted Intervention (TI) Project supported by Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (UPSACS) in Deoria.

Educational Qualification
Graduation in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Training/certification in basic computer applications.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, data management and reporting software will be preferred.
Desired Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the development, health, HIV/AIDS or social sector, with experience in:

Data management, monitoring and evaluation.
Data quality assessment, analysis and interpretation.
Preparation of programme performance reports.
Maintaining financial records, accounts and supporting documentation.
Computerisation and management of programme/outreach data.
Knowledge of government health programmes and reporting systems will be an advantage.
Key Skills
Strong skills in data management, analysis and documentation.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and other computer applications.
Ability to identify data inconsistencies and undertake data quality checks.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with field teams and in a team environment.
Willingness to undertake field visits to project sites/hotspots.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring, Data Management & Quality Assurance

Maintain and regularly update programme, outreach, clinical and financial data.
Ensure timely computerisation and compilation of project-level data.
Conduct regular data analysis and prepare weekly and monthly analytical reports.
Undertake individual tracking and monitoring of beneficiaries/HRGs receiving project services.
Conduct data quality checks and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or potential problems in reported data.
Undertake field visits to verify data and strengthen the quality of MIS and reporting.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, field team, and relevant UPSACS/TSU/SETU teams for programme performance reporting.
Ensure proper maintenance of records and supporting documents.

Accounts & Financial Management

Maintain project-related financial records and accounts.
Assist in preparation and maintenance of Statements of Expenditure (SOEs) and supporting documentation.
Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of project expenses.
Provide financial and programme data required for project reports and reviews.

Reporting & Documentation

Ensure timely submission of monthly programme performance data through prescribed reporting systems/formats.
Compile field-level information for operational and programme reports.
Assist in preparation, writing and editing of project reports, including annual reports, field study reports, event reports and other reports required by UPSACS/TI project.
Provide accurate and timely information required for internal and external reviews.
