About the Organization

Anahat For Change Foundation is a women-led, non-profit organization co-founded in 2018 with the vision of building a gender-just society. The organization works at the intersection of gender equality, menstrual health & hygiene (MHH), adolescent well-being, livelihoods, and environmental sustainability.
Anahat designs community-led and system-strengthening programmes addressing structural and social inequalities affecting women, adolescents, and marginalized communities. Its approach focuses on improving knowledge, shifting attitudes, and strengthening practices through education, access to services, and local capacity building.
Through its flagship initiative Project Unnati, the organization has reached adolescents and communities across multiple states in India, positioning menstrual health as a public health, dignity, and gender equity issue. The organization collaborates with schools, frontline workers, local governance institutions, and community collectives to ensure sustainable and scalable impact.

About the Programme

This CSR-supported, pan-India school programme aims to strengthen menstrual health awareness, healthy practices and supportive environments for adolescent girls across 34 schools in India. Through a structured eight-session curriculum in each school, the programme will engage adolescent girls on puberty, menstruation, hygiene, WASH, emotional well-being and informed menstrual product choices, while also involving boys and mothers in selected sessions. Alongside learning sessions, the programme will use baseline/KAP surveys and pre- and post-assessments to understand existing knowledge and practices and measure changes resulting from the intervention.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Trainer – Menstrual Health & Hygiene (MHM) to conduct awareness and capacity-building sessions in schools across India. The trainer will engage adolescents, teachers, school authorities, and communities to improve knowledge, practices, and attitudes around menstrual health and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct interactive MHM sessions in schools across multiple states
Facilitate trainings for teachers, frontline workers, and community stakeholders
Use participatory and adolescent-friendly training methodologies
Deliver culturally sensitive and age-appropriate communication
Conduct mothers’ meetings and community sensitisation sessions
Maintain attendance records and training documentation
Collect pre- and post-assessment data using OMR sheets
Compile reports and manage data using Excel
Coordinate with program team for planning, logistics, and scheduling
Support monitoring and evaluation processes
Travel extensively across India every month

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Graduate in any discipline (MSW preferred)
2–3 years of experience in MHM, adolescent health, facilitation, training, or community development
Experience working in schools or with adolescents preferred

Skills Required
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Ability to confidently handle large adolescent groups
Fluency in Hindi and English (spoken & written)

Technical Skills (Separate Requirement)
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, PPT)
Knowledge of Canva will be an added advantage
Experience in data management and reporting
Responsible for pre-post assessment data collection using OMR sheets

Travel Requirement- This is a travel-intensive role, requiring the Trainer to travel for approximately 20 days each month to programme locations across India. The Trainer will be responsible for coordinating with schools across different states, planning visits in consultation with the Anahat programme team and travelling to the respective locations to conduct the scheduled sessions and assessments. All approved programme-related travel expenses will be reimbursed separately as per the organisation’s travel policy.

Language Advantage
Knowledge of additional languages (like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, or other regional languages) will be an added advantage

Candidates need to have their own laptops.

Compensation & Benefits
Monthly remuneration: 25,000/-.
