• Position: Manager – Resource Development

Descriptions for the role:
As a Manager – Resource Development will manage donor relationships while utilizing data to optimize fundraising and engagement strategies. This position combines relationship-building skills with analytical expertise to drive data-informed decisions that enhance donor retention, improve fundraising campaigns, and streamline donor engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Mobilization Strategy:
• Develop and implement an annual resource-development and fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's vision, mission, programmes, and financial requirements.
• Establish fundraising targets, donor priorities, pipelines, and timelines.
• Develop strategies for diversifying the organization's funding base and reducing dependence on a limited number of donors.
• Identify opportunities across institutional grants, CSR partnerships, foundations, bilateral/multilateral agencies, individual giving, philanthropy, and strategic partnerships.
• Track fundraising performance against agreed targets and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Contribute to long-term financial sustainability and organizational growth through diversified resource-mobilization approaches.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze donor data to understand trends, behaviors, and giving patterns, helping to identify opportunities for engagement and retention.
• Provide regular reports on donor trends, campaign performance, and fundraising results to senior leadership.
• Use data insights to suggest improvements in donor engagement strategies and segmentation approaches.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to present data in a clear, actionable manner for fundraising and leadership teams.
Fundraising Strategy Support & Data Management Support:
• Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, working closely with the resource development team.
• Develop targeted donor segments based on historical data and giving behavior to improve outreach and fundraising
effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent, tailored messaging across donor communications.
• Implement best practices in donor data management and track donations, pledges, and communications history.
• Conduct regular audits of the database to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Non-profit Management, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in fundraising, or nonprofit development, with a focus on data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using CRM systems.
• High-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives based on data insights.
