Job Overview
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused General Duty Officer to manage front-desk operations and patient flow for our Outpatient Department (OPD). Working closely with our attending doctor and MIS Executive, you will ensure a seamless experience for every patient—from registration to consultation completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Desk & Vitals Intake
• Manage patient check-ins and maintain an orderly waiting area.
• Record basic patient physical parameters, including height, weight, and BMI calculations, prior to consultation.
2. Support to MIS Executive
• Assist the MIS Executive in completing digital/manual registrations.
• Support the accurate issuing registration slips and prescription sheets.
• Assist in updating daily patient logs in the management system.
3. OPD & Doctor Coordination
• Serve as the main point of contact between patients and the attending doctor.
• Manage the consultation queue to ensure minimal wait times and smooth patient movement into the OPD room.
• Coordinate directly with the doctor regarding patient sequence, emergency cases, or specific assistance required during clinics.
4. General Duty & Facility Coordination/GNM
• Address patient inquiries in a polite, professional, and empathetic manner.
• Coordinate across facility staff to keep the OPD counter and waiting area organized, clean, and efficient.
Key Qualifications
• Education: High School / Higher Secondary or Graduate in any discipline.
GNM/Anm
• Experience: Prior experience in clinic operations, OPD management, or front-desk coordination is preferred.
• Skills: Basic computer literacy, strong communication skills, and a friendly, patient-centric approach.
