Freshers or 1 year experience persons in NGOs are invited to apply. Ideally BSWs, Health and Education personnel required.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Screening and Identification: Identify children requiring surgery support through hospital referrals, medical networks and community outreach. Screen cases based on medical requirements, family circumstances and financial need.

Beneficiary Assessment: Collect and verify medical records, treatment estimates, income documents and other supporting information to assess eligibility for assistance.

Hospital Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, doctors, medical social workers and hospital administrators to establish referral networks and facilitate access to treatment.

Case Coordination: Coordinate with beneficiaries, caregivers, hospitals and internal teams from case identification through approval, surgery and follow-up, ensuring timely communication and documentation.

Programme Monitoring: Maintain accurate beneficiary records, track case progress, treatment costs and outcomes, and prepare periodic programme updates and reports.

Donor and Internal Coordination: Provide case summaries, medical estimates, updates and utilisation details to support funding decisions, donor reporting and programme transparency.

Field Engagement: Conduct hospital visits and, where required, beneficiary home visits to verify information, understand family circumstances and assess needs.

Ethical Practice and Confidentiality: Ensure respectful engagement with patients and families, protect sensitive medical and personal information, and follow Ekam’s safeguarding and data protection policies.
