Conduct engaging and age-appropriate disaster management awareness and training sessions for school students.

Educate students about different types of disasters, including earthquakes, floods, cyclones, lightning, fires, and other emergencies.

Demonstrate essential disaster preparedness, emergency evacuation, and personal safety procedures.

Organize practical activities, mock drills, simulations, and group exercises to strengthen students' emergency response skills.

Create awareness about school safety protocols, emergency exits, assembly points, and disaster management plans.

Introduce basic first aid, emergency communication, and safe response practices appropriate for school students.

Encourage students to identify potential risks and hazards within their school and surrounding communities.

Use interactive learning methodologies such as demonstrations, presentations, role-plays, videos, and participatory discussions.

Coordinate with school authorities, teachers, and programme coordinators for smooth implementation of sessions.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate or postgraduate degree in Disaster Management, Environmental Science, Geography, Civil Defence, Safety Management, Social Work, or a related discipline.

Relevant certification or professional training in Disaster Management, Fire Safety, First Aid, or Emergency Response will be an added advantage.

Candidates with training or professional experience in disaster management institutions, Civil Defence, Fire Services, Red Cross, or recognized emergency response organizations will be preferred.

5. Experience Required

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in disaster management training, school safety programmes, emergency preparedness, or community awareness initiatives.

Prior experience conducting sessions, workshops, or mock drills for school students is desirable.

Experience working with government schools, educational institutions, NGOs, or government-supported educational projects will be an advantage.
