Since 2009, Synergie has designed and delivered social programmes for corporate and institutional partners across road safety, healthcare, education, skilling, financial literacy and livelihoods. We combine on-ground delivery with our own technology platforms to manage programmes and measure results.

We’re looking for someone with a proven record of winning institutional business. You’ll identify prospects, understand what they need, and take opportunities through proposals and negotiations to signed agreements. You’ll report directly to the founders and own day-to-day business development. You’ll have the freedom to pursue opportunities and recommend next steps, with the founders’ support in strategic conversations and key decisions.

What you bring

1. A track record of personally progressing and closing institutional deals involving multiple decision-makers and long buying cycles.
2. An understanding of how institutions make buying decisions, familiarity with CSR funding and approvals, and the ability to put together credible proposals and budgets.
3. A hands-on approach to researching prospects, opening conversations and keeping deals moving.
The initiative to find a way forward when things are unclear, share concise updates and bring a recommendation when a decision is needed.
4. A collaborative approach to working with founders and colleagues. You’re comfortable sharing your perspective, taking feedback on board and staying steady through setbacks.

Existing relationships with CSR teams or foundations are an advantage. The role involves travel to client and programme locations.
