Job Summary
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s administrative functions, supporting human resource management, and assisting with public relations and stakeholder coordination. The role requires strong organizational abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

Job Location: Kolkata

Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree (MA) in Humanities or MBA from a recognized institution.

Experience
Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within NGOs, development organizations, or social sector institutions.

Salary: Negotiable

5. Proficiency in MS Office and documentation management

Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Management
1. Support recruitment processes including posting vacancies, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records.
2. Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management.
3. Assist in staff onboarding and orientation.
4. Support employee engagement activities and internal communication.
5. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and HR procedures.

Administrative Management
1. Oversee day-to-day office administration and operations.
2. Maintain office inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination.
3. Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and events.
4. Maintain proper documentation and filing systems (both physical and digital).
5. Assist in drafting official correspondence, reports, and administrative documents.

Public Relations & Stakeholder Coordination
1. Liaise with external stakeholders, partners, and service providers.
2. Assist in drafting and maintaining professional correspondence.
3. Support outreach activities, meetings, and events with partner organizations.
4. Help strengthen the organization’s professional relationships with stakeholders.
