Gender & Public Finance Specialist

SIGMA Foundation invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals with expertise in Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB), Gender Budget Analysis, and Public Finance & Budget Analysis.

?? Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct gender-responsive budget analysis at national/state/district levels
• Review public finance policies through a gender lens
• Support design and implementation of GRB frameworks and tools
• Undertake data analysis, research, and report writing
• Contribute to policy briefs, evaluation studies, and capacity-building initiatives

?? Eligibility Criteria:
• Master's degree (or higher) in Economics, Public Finance, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Statistics, or related disciplines
• Demonstrated experience in GRB or gender-focused public finance analysis
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills
• Excellent command over English, particularly in report writing and documentation

?? Location: Kolkata (with potential travel as required)

? Preferred:
• Experience working with government departments, multilateral agencies, or research organizations
• Exposure to large-scale evaluations, policy analysis, or budget tracking studies
