Level Of Contact With Children: 2 (Sporadic contact with children/youth)

Role Purpose:
The IT Manager will lead and strengthen the organization’s technology ecosystem to support program delivery, operational effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making across Headquarters and State Offices.
The role will ensure secure, scalable, and inclusive technology systems that enable program teams, improve collaboration, safeguard data, and enhance organizational impact in a multi-location development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology for Development Enablement:
• Align IT systems with programmatic and operational needs.
• Support digital tools for program monitoring, reporting, and beneficiary data management.
• Enable technology-driven efficiencies across HR, Finance, and Program teams.
• Identify opportunities where emerging technologies (including AI) can strengthen organizational effectiveness.
2. Infrastructure & Systems Strengthening:
• Ensure stable and secure IT infrastructure across HO and State Offices.
• Oversee lifecycle management of hardware, software, and digital platforms.
• Strengthen remote connectivity and collaboration capabilities.
3. Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
• Safeguard sensitive program and beneficiary data.
• Implement secure access, backup, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
• Promote safe digital practices across teams.
4. Digital Transformation & Innovation:
• Support adoption of MIS, HRIS, finance systems, and cloud-based tools.
• Explore and guide the responsible use of AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.
• Drive process automation where feasible.
5. IT Procurement & Vendor Management:
• Work with Admin and Procurement teams to prepare IT specifications, review quotations, evaluate vendors, and support procurement decisions.
• Manage IT AMC contracts, service-level agreements, and vendor performance.
• Maintain updated inventory of IT equipment and licenses.
• Manage IT vendors and service providers.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement and AMC management.
• Optimize utilization of IT resources
6. Applications, Platforms & Digital Tools:
• Manage Microsoft 365, email services, SharePoint, Teams, ERP/SAP modules, and other enterprise applications.
• Support rollout of new systems, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with global IT teams where required.
7. State Office IT Support:
• Provide remote and periodic onsite support to state offices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards across locations.
• Guide state teams in IT procurement, setup, and troubleshooting.
8. Policies, Compliance & Documentation:
• Maintain and update IT policies, SOPs, disaster recovery plans, and cybersecurity guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and maintain all technical documentation.
• Lead capacity building initiatives for staff on digital tools and IT practices.
9. Service Delivery & Capacity Building:
• Strengthen IT helpdesk support.
• Build staff awareness on digital tools and cyber safety.
• Promote inclusive digital usage across teams.
10. Governance & Compliance:
• Develop IT policies and SOPs.
• Ensure audit readiness and documentation.
• Maintain IT asset registers and system inventories.
11. Other Responsibilities:
• Support emergency responses requiring rapid IT deployment.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Science, or related field
• 7–10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in multi-location IT environments preferred
• Experience in development / non-profit sector is an advantage
• Strong coordination, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple operational tasks with accuracy and timeliness
