Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant will support the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting entries, and managing financial documentation. The role involves ensuring that financial records are properly maintained and organised, and assisting the finance team with routine accounting and administrative tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, systematic record-keeping, and the ability to follow established financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Data Entry & Record Maintenance
• Enter financial transactions and basic accounting entries in Tally or other accounting software.
• Maintain and update financial records accurately in accounting systems.
2. Documentation & Financial Record Management
• Maintain organised records of vouchers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• File and archive financial documents in both physical and digital formats.
3. Payments & Basic Finance Support
• Verify bills and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Assist in processing vendor payments, reimbursements, and project expenses.
• Maintain records of vendor details and payment documentation.
4. Banking, Audit & Administrative Support
• Assist with banking-related documentation and routine financial processes.
• Support preparation of documents required for audits and financial reporting.
• Maintain organised financial records in line with organisational procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (NGO experience preferred).
• Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good documentation and record management skills
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams
• Strong organisational and time management skills

Salary: 1,80,000 to 2,64,000 P.A
