Saksham is a leading organization dedicated to creating accessible educational resources for persons with print disabilities. We work across multiple states to ensure inclusive access to learning materials through accessible formats such as Braille, DAISY, and EPUB.

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a skilled **E-Pub Creator** to join our accessibility production team. The selected candidate will be responsible for converting textbooks and other educational materials into **accessible EPUB formats** suitable for learners with print disabilities. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to accessibility standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create **accessible EPUB files** following national and international accessibility guidelines.
- Convert source files (Word, PDF, etc.) into structured, clean, and navigable EPUBs.
- Perform **content formatting**, including headings, alt text, tables, lists, and semantic markup.
- Use **MS Word and MS Excel** for content preparation, data handling, and workflow documentation.
- Apply **HTML and CSS** for fine-tuning EPUB structure and styling.
- Conduct **editing and proofreading** to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the accessibility team to maintain quality standards and meet project timelines.
- Ensure all outputs comply with accessibility requirements for persons with print disabilities.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Proficiency in **EPUB creation tools** and workflows.
- Strong command of **MS Word** and **MS Excel**.
- Working knowledge of **HTML** and basic CSS.
- Excellent **editing and proofreading** skills.
- Good **spoken and written English** is mandatory.
- Ability to follow formatting standards and maintain high-quality output.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience in accessibility, digital publishing, or content conversion.
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (EPUB Accessibility, WCAG, DAISY standards) preferred.
