Position: Senior Programme Associate – Jaipur, Rajasthan

Job Summary
Working in close collaboration with the State Lead, the Senior Programme Associate will contribute to programme planning and drive effective implementation across intervention areas, playing a critical role in strengthening on-ground delivery. The role involves supporting and leading the implementation, management, and oversight of programmes across select districts in Rajasthan, including supervising field teams, ensuring sound financial management, and maintaining high-quality documentation, tracking, and reporting of programme progress. The position requires extensive travel within the state and close engagement with communities and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Implementation & Management
- Support, coordinate and ensure the timely and high quality implementation of programme activities across the state.
- Coordinate closely with field teams to ensure alignment with programme goals and timelines
- Work in close collaboration with the Supervisor for planning, execution and course correction
- Support budget tracking and ensure efficient utilization of resources
2. Capacity Building & Training
- Plan and coordinate trainings and workshops for staff and community stakeholders
- Support capacity-building initiatives, particularly for women leaders and local institutions
- Ensure training quality, participation, and follow-up
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
- Oversee data collection (primary and secondary) for key programme indicators
- Validate and verify field data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Ensure proper maintenance of M&E systems, formats and documentation
- Generate insights to strengthen programme effectiveness
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Ensure timely and high-quality documentation of programme activities and outputs
- Prepare reports, presentations, and periodic updates for internal review
- Maintain accurate records and databases using MS Office tools
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with state/district administration, Panchayati Raj Institutions and civil society organizations
- Facilitate convergence and collaboration for effective programme delivery
- Represent the organization at relevant local forums and meetings
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Gender Studies, or related fields
- 6-7 years of experience in the development sector
- Minimum 3 years of experience in rural development, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and women’s empowerment
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong coordination, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Hands-on experience with digital tools and data management systems
- Ability to work independently and in field-based, rural contexts
- Strong understanding of gender and intersecting social hierarchies
