Position Purpose
The role requires an experienced professional in Family Planning (FP) with technical knowledge of contraceptives. The successful candidate will facilitate program rollout in intervention districts, provide technical support to government health officials (DHS, NHM), and ensure both qualitative and quantitative program achievements through extensive onground activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Advocacy and Technical Support
• Coordinate and advocate with District Family Planning Nodal officers for the implementation of FP/contraceptives.
• Provide technical support to city health officials to develop and execute training plans.
• Facilitate coaching and mentoring sessions for district health officials and ensure the issuance of state directives for training rollouts.
• Support the organization of district and block-level orientations and sensitization for frontline workers.

Monitoring and Operations
• Conduct regular facility visits to identify implementation gaps and address challenges with the Program Lead.
• Collaborate with logistics officers to ensure a smooth supply chain for new and existing contraceptives.
• Visit district logistics stores and warehouses to ensure stock availability and timely indenting.
• Perform quality checks on data submitted regarding program processes and activity reporting.
• Track the performance of service providers and conduct follow-ups for implant clients.

Coordination and Reporting
• Prepare field visit reports and share observations with district health officials for guidance.
• Participate in City/District Coordination meetings, Private Interface Meetings, and State Health Society meetings.
• Develop and maintain city-specific work plans while ensuring compliance with timelines.
• Ensure the upload of implant outcomes into the HMIS portal in coordination with DHS.


Qualification and Experience
• Education: Post Graduate degree.
• Experience: 3-5 years in the implementation and rollout of Family Planning programs.
• Government Liaison: Knowledge and experience working with District government officials, preferably on FP projects.
• Team Management: At least 3-4 years of experience managing district-level field team operations.
