Mobile Creches, (MC) a pioneer NGO, has been operational since 1969, providing childcare and health services to more than 15,000 children every year in the National Capital Region, through workplace and community-based crèches and daycare centres, every year.
MC pioneered the cause of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and focuses on young children under six years in urban slums and children of migrant workers at construction sites. MC’s multi-pronged approach- providing childcare services to young children at worksites, urban slums, rural and tribal communities, working with parents and communities to amplify the ECD agenda, enhancing linkages with government ECD services, training the ECD workforce, influencing government policies, promoting research in the field of ECD; addressing both the short- and long-term needs of children. It is officially recognized as the National Creche agency by the government and is on the path of accelerating ECD services for the children of marginalized communities by scaling up in partnership with the government and other players in civil society.
Mobile Creches plans to operate 15 crèche centres, each 5 in Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri catering to children aged 7 months to 3 years. The centres will provide comprehensive services covering nutrition, health and hygiene, safety and protection, and early stimulation to support holistic child development.

Designation: Creche Supervisor
Position Overview:
The Creche Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision of creche centers within the assigned district. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations and providing ongoing guidance and support to creche caregivers to ensure optimal care, well-being, and development of young children.
Reporting to: Cluster Coordinator
Reported by: Creche Caregiver
Responsible for: 05 Creches
Educational Qualifications: Graduate in social sciences or any related discipline.
Total Work Experience:
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the social development sector at the grassroots level. Working experience with Anganwadi will be an advantage.
Age Criteria: 25–35 years.
Job Description:
Specific areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Location Identification and Community Engagement:
• Collaborate with the Cluster Coordinator to identify suitable locations for setting up creche centers.
• Organize and lead community meetings to gain local support and establish creche centers in identified villages.
• Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, panchayats, village heads, Mahila Mandals, parents, schools, and other organizations to create a supportive ecosystem.
Caregiver Support and Child Development:
• Provide continuous support and guidance to Creche Caregivers to ensure nurturing physical, emotional, and social development of children.
• Conduct regular visits (at least twice a month each centre) to creche centers to monitor caregiver performance, child well-being, and program quality.
• Conduct monthly review meetings with caregivers to assess progress and address challenges.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all children, including those with special needs (malnourished, sick, or at-risk), and facilitate necessary referrals.
• Support caregivers in creating awareness on early detection and prevention of disabilities and making appropriate referrals.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure strict compliance with creche regulations and maintain discipline and decorum across all creche centers.
• Implement safety and security protocols and address gaps promptly.
• Conduct monthly stock audits and manage collection of monthly indents for timely supply of ration, medicines, educational materials, registers, and other resources.
Data Management and Reporting:
• Fill MIS formats and compile monthly reports, ensuring timely sharing with the Cluster Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate and updated records, including child data and program-related documents.
Training and Capacity Building:
• Participate in trainings and exposure visits to remain updated on best practices in early childhood development.
• Support capacity building of Creche Caregivers by strengthening their caregiving skills and knowledge.
Adaptability and Proactivity:
• Be flexible and ready to carry out any other program-related tasks as instructed.
• Adapt to evolving requirements of the project.
Team Building and Team Handling:
• Take responsibility for supporting the team in effective project implementation.
• Mentor the team through regular meetings, supervision, and target setting as required.
• Foster a cooperative, respectful, and supportive work culture.
Key Skills Required:
• Basic computing skills (MS Word and electronic communication).
• Strong communication and people skills; ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
• Ability to mobilize and enable the community, passion for child development work.
• Fluency in the local Telugu and Hindi.
