About the Organisation

Roshni Foundation & Charitable Trust is a grassroots NGO working in tribal regions of Dahanu and Talasari, Maharashtra. The organisation focuses on education, women empowerment, health, nutrition, sanitation, and sustainable rural development, impacting thousands of children and families.

Role Overview

The Office Coordinator will support the Mumbai office in strengthening organisational systems, documentation, fundraising support, and communications. The role involves coordination between the Mumbai office and rural field teams, and requires strong organisational and follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising & Donor Support
• Identify CSR and funding opportunities
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and presentations
• Follow up on submitted proposals
• Support donor communication and reporting
• Assist in preparation of utilisation and impact reports

?

2. Documentation & Reporting
• Collect and compile data from field teams
• Prepare monthly and annual reports
• Develop case studies and success stories
• Maintain organised documentation (photos, videos, reports)
• Support award and grant applications

?

3. Communications
• Assist in managing website and social media updates
• Support preparation of presentations and impact decks
• Coordinate newsletters and donor communication

?

4. Systems & Operations
• Assist with NGO compliance documentation (CSR, 80G, FCRA support)
• Support internal systems (leave tracking, documentation, records)
• Use and maintain digital tools (Google Drive, Excel, Zoho or similar)

5. Coordination & Team Support
• Coordinate with field teams, interns, and trustees
• Track follow-ups, timelines, and action points
• Support preparation of meeting briefs and notes
• Guide and coordinate interns on assigned tasks

?

Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate / Master’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in NGO sector / coordination / documentation / fundraising support
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google tools
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) is an advantage

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive within the NGO sector and based on experience.
