Vacancy for Middle Level Interventionist

Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Themes (CEHAT) is looking for a committed professional to support its hospital-based intervention on violence against women (VAW) under the Dilaasa programme.

Post: Middle level Professional

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Hospital teams to implement standard operating procedures (SOP) for gender sensitive services to survivors of GBV
• Support and supervise CEHAT’s team leading intervention activities
• Work with Dilaasa teams of counsellors and ANMs to facilitate capacity building and mutual learning.
• Ensure regular documentation and analysis of service records from Dilaasa Centres and hospitals
• Build and sustain effective relationships with senior health system leadership to create visibility of Dilaasa’s efforts in mitigating GBV
• Conduct and/or co-facilitate trainings for healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and medical officers, on gender-sensitive responses to violence.
• Develop and maintain networks with the justice system and other allied stakeholders to strengthen coordinated service delivery for survivors of violence against women.
• Track and review program progress across hospitals and support problem-solving
• Contribute to development of training materials and intervention strategies
• Handle the CEHAT gender-based violence helpline.
• Contribute to health systems-based research studies undertaken by CEHAT

Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work, Public Health, Public Health Administration, Social Science or related fields.
• 4-5 years of experience in gender-based violence, women’s rights, or health systems.
• Sound understanding of gender-based violence, gender and health inequities and public health.
• Excellent communication skills in Marathi/ Hindi and English and proven ability to conduct participatory capacity building workshops with health professionals
• Ability to lead and support a team of interventionists at CEHAT and integrate supportive supervision techniques.
• Must be a team player and should possess the flexibility of working in a dynamic health system environment
• Basic skills in documentation, reporting and using data for program improvement
• Experience in working within public health systems or government institutions (preferred)

Remuneration: Will be commensurate with qualifications and experience between 79,000/- to 81,000/-
