About the Role
PIB Executive is a front-line position at the heart of Maahi MPC's member engagement strategy. The role requires deep commitment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work closely with milk producer households, village communities, and producer company governance structure. The executive will drive member relations, institutional building at the village level, and the growth of company’s membership and capital base.
Position Details
Position Title: Producer Institution Building (PIB) Executive
Department / Division: Producer Institution Building (PIB)
Location : Saurashtra and Kutch (posting as per operational need)
Travel Requirement : Extensive field travel; village visits on a daily basis
Key Responsibilities
A. Village Contact Group (VCG) & Member Relations Group (MRG) Management
1. Facilitate the constitution of VCGs and MRGs at village level
2. Conduct orientation programmes for newly constituted VCGs and MRGs in coordination with the respective Field Procurement Executives.
3. Organise and conduct MRG meetings regularly; prepare detailed meeting minutes and communicate key issues and concerns to the PIB Team for timely resolution.
4. Attend all MRG meetings and at least one VCG meeting per month; take appropriate action on grievances and feedback received through meetings or phone calls, and report resolution status.
B. Programme Quality Assurance & Member Awareness
1. Ensure quality delivery of programmes — including Producer Awareness, Clean Milk Production, and Women's Awareness programmes.
2. Stay informed of field-level developments and member responses.
3. Organise community-level image-building programmes for the MPC, including initiatives for Rural Youth and Rural School Children.
C. Membership Growth & Share Capital
1. Achieve the targeted membership enrolment and share capital contribution for the assigned area within stipulated timelines.
• Schedule and conduct village meetings — in coordination with facilitators — to explain the MPC model and its benefits to milk producer households.
• Organise member-enrolment campaigns and special membership drives in underperforming villages (low membership or poor capital formation).
• Verify credentials of milk producer members as required.
• Achieve targeted percentage of women membership in the assigned geography.
D. Governance Support
1. Support the organisation of the Annual General Meeting (AGM), including facilitating MRG member participation, and assisting the Polling Officer / Election Observer during elections of Board of Directors or resolution-passing processes, as required.
E. Data, MIS & Field Reporting
1. Maintain updated field records for all VCG/MRG activities, member enrolment, campaign outcomes, and grievance redressal status.
2. Submit periodic field visit reports, programme attendance records, and member engagement updates to the PIB Team as per the prescribed reporting calendar.
3. Document member feedback, recurring complaints (e.g., FAT/SNF disputes, Sahayak-related issues, milk procurement lapses), and escalate unresolved matters through proper channels.
F. Coordination & Cross-functional Support
1. Coordinate with the Field Procurement team, BMC operators, Sahayaks, and other Maahi MPC staff to ensure cohesive last-mile service delivery to members.
2. Support any additional activities assigned by the organisation from time to time in furtherance of Maahi MPC's mission and operational priorities.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Education :Post graduate in Agriculture, Rural Development, Dairy Science, Social Work, or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience in the field of rural development/community mobilisation.
Language :Proficiency in Gujarati (mandatory); working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Computer Skills: Basic MS Office; ability to use data entry tools and MIS platforms.
Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively across assigned villages; possession of a valid two-wheeler licence and own vehicle is compulsory.
Salary
Minimum CTC of Rs.3 lakh. Final CTC would be based on experience and qualifications of the candidate.
