Qualifications and Competencies:
- B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) / ICWA with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in small/mid/large organizations
- Professional certification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Good understanding of taxation and labor laws
- Proficiency in financial systems, MS Office (especially Excel), and accounting software (SAP experience preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze statutory records, policy documents, and financial statements
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strengthen accounting systems and ensure high standards of financial reporting
- Oversee financial and administrative operations across Bajaj Foundation and its programs
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and expenditure estimates
- Liaise with program teams for day-to-day financial matters
- Perform basic financial analysis and review of program budgets
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory regulations
- Monitor fund utilization and prepare related reports
- Oversee procurement processes in alignment with guidelines
- Analyze financial statements and report findings to leadership
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders including banks, vendors, and service providers
- Regularly update documentation and financial workflows
- Manage revenue and recovery accounts (utilities, farm produce sales, vehicle usage, etc.)
- Assist in updating internal financial process documents
- Handle procurement and service contracts
- Respond to finance-related inquiries (budgets, payments, reporting, etc.)
- Consolidate and analyze financial data across projects
- Conduct field-level bill and activity validations
Remuneration:
Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous experience and qualifications in the relevant field.
