Job Description

(Officer – Special Projects)

Title / Position: Officer – Special Projects

Location: Chennai, Faridabad & Aurangabad

Salary - 25,000 to 30,000

Reporting To: Project Head

Team Size to handle: NA

Qualification: Should be a Graduate in any stream

Preference & Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience required. Preference shall be given to candidates having experience in working with NGOs/Foundations/Trusts.

Key Areas of Delivery
• Responsible for overall developing and maintaining of project budgets.
• Plan and execute events which reflect and support BYST’s overall vision.
• Propose potential outreach activities and maintain an annual regional events calendar.
• Develop detailed budget and proposal for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, budgets etc.) and ensure efficient & timely delivery of projects.
• Work closely with the communications team, to strengthen regional communications through marketing collaterals, events and media outreach.
• Responsible for timely production of monthly regional newsletter.
• Support the communications team with content for social media and website.
• Identify and coordinate with vendors and consultants for communications activities as required.
• Maintain media relations and pitch potential content.
• Ensure all event-related administrative records are kept up to date.
• Coordinate staffing requirements, staff briefings and providing leadership, motivation, direction and support when needed.
• Produce post-event evaluation and producing reports for event stakeholders.
