Role Overview

Responsible for driving community participation, awareness and effective utilisation of Samadhaan Hubs (Dry Waste Collection Centres). The role focuses on on-ground mobilisation, behaviour change, ensuring proper waste channelisation and maintaining accurate records in line with IAG principles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Mobilisation & Engagement

* Engage RWAs, communities, waste generators, schools and institutions around SHs
* Drive awareness on source segregation and SH usage through regular outreach
* Onboard new users and sustain participation of existing stakeholders

2. Samadhaan Hub Activation & Operations

* Ensure effective utilisation of SHs by nearby communities and waste generators
* Maintain accurate accounting and digital records of waste collected and channelised
* Work closely with operations teams for smooth functioning of SHs
* Track footfall and waste inflow; identify gaps and improve usage

3. Stakeholder & Collaborator Coordination

* Coordinate with MCG, GMDA and local stakeholders as required
* Manage linkages with authorised waste collaborators for responsible disposal
* Support CSR visits, volunteering and community interaction at SHs

4. Awareness & Events

* Conduct awareness drives, cleanliness campaigns and workshops
* Support IAG events and community initiatives linked to waste management
* Develop simple communication material for outreach

5. Monitoring & Reporting

* Maintain records of outreach, participation and key issues
* Share regular updates and support impact reporting

Preferred Profile

* Graduate (social work/environment preferred) with 2-4 years of field experience
* Strong communication skills (Hindi & English)
* Comfortable with fieldwork and local travel and preferably resident of Gurugram.
* Basic documentation and reporting skills
