Kudumbashree National Resource Organization (KS-NRO) is providing technical and implementation support to other states as part of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM) in two domains viz,
- Convergence between local governments and community Organisations
- Community- based enterprise support
The Mission is providing support to develop suitable models analyzing the specific situation of the state. KS-NRO is currently supporting 23 states and 3 UT’s. More details of the work of the KS-NRO can be had at www.kudumbashreenro.org.
Kudumbashree-NRO calls for applications from interested persons for positions listed below. General conditions of application and format for application are provided.
Positions for which applications are invited:
Specialist –KMC & IEC (PRI-CBO Convergence)
Job Description:
- Designing a knowledge management framework and dissemination plan for promotion, external sharing, and advocacy.
- Gather, review, and compile learning documents, training modules, and IEC materials related to PRI-CBO Convergence to build a comprehensive repository.
- Develop audio-visual content for broader content dissemination and create knowledge materials and design impact literature for national-level initiatives under PRI-CBO Convergence.
- Assist NMMU in planning and organising key events such as workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- National-Level Documentation: Lead the design and production of high-quality infographics, newsletters, and social media assets for the PRI-CBO vertical.
- Multimedia Storytelling: End-to-end production of short films and photography documenting field-level convergence models and success stories.
- Content Translation: Simplify complex policy guidelines into engaging narratives for both community and high-level government stakeholders.
- Build internal capacity through training, learning events, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Coordinate with program teams to document best practices, case studies, and lessons learned, and design the posts for relevant social media handles.
- Serve as the nodal point for all external communications and media relations.
- Support all States/ UTs in strengthening their KMC aspects related to PRI-CBO Convergence.
- Support States for overall PRI-CBO Convergence related work.
- Any other work assigned by the authority.
The position will be based out of New Delhi.
Educational Qualifications:
- Primary: Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Development Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Technical Certification: Certified proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) or Multimedia Production is highly desirable.
Technical skills:
- Design Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Power BI, Tableau and Canva.
- Emerging Tech: Demonstrated experience in using AI-driven tools for content generation and workflow automation.
- Multimedia: Practical experience in high-definition video editing (Premiere Pro/Final Cut) and digital photography.
- Language: Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and English (both written and verbal) is mandatory for effective liaison at the Ministry level.
- Expertise in creating multi-format content-policy briefs, reports, newsletters, IEC materials, presentations, press releases, and digital content
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, content management systems (CMS), and collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with web content management, social media strategy, and digital outreach.
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms: Designing assessments, quizzes, and certifications within the LMS environment
Work Experience
- Minimum Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional experience in knowledge management, communication, digital content creation, or IEC management.
- Sectoral Experience: At least 2 years of experience working within the development sector, preferably with Government Missions (SRLMs/NRLM), Convergence/ Partnership work, NGOs, or Multilateral Agencies (UN, World Bank, etc.).
- Portfolio Requirement: Must demonstrate a proven track record of developing high-quality visual and written content (e.g., Annual Reports, National Campaigns, or Documentary Shorts).
Age limit: Below 40 years as on 01.05.2026
Expected Remuneration
- Consolidated monthly remuneration of INR 70,000 to INR 85,000, which shall be determined based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
- Additional Allowances and Benefits: Communication allowance @ Rs. 1000 per month, HRA as applicable, fixed local conveyance allowance as per norms, gratuity as per the Payment of Gratuity Act, PF as applicable, and health, accident, and life insurance coverage
Terms of appointment
The appointment to the above position shall be for a period of One year. The positioning will be in Delhi at the NRLM office and will be on contract basis. The contract may be renewed, subject to review of performance of the incumbent and continuation of the NRO project. Consolidated monthly remuneration fixed according to the pay details as approved will be paid.
Selection Process
The applicants will be selected through a multi-stage selection process:
- Short-listing of suitable candidates based on review of application in the prescribed format
- Telephonic Interview
- Personal interview either online or at Delhi
