Education: Graduation in any Subject or should be at least educated up to 12th standard with good knowledge of the local community and local language.
Minimum of 1 years of work experience which includes:
Post - 1 Post FORW (Female) & 2 Post ORW (Male)
Experience:
•Knowledge and experience in the health and social development sector.
Knowledge and Skills
• Should have strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in small teams, and flexible ways of working.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, case study compilation.
• At least 25 days in the field visit required.
• Capacity to monitor report and guide the team under him.
Summary of Key Functions: The Outreach Workers will be responsible for service delivery at the field for behavior Change or service uptake. With Peer Educators and ORW has to plan, counseling session by counselor, clinic service by visiting physician or preferred providers, advocacy and networking with stakeholders. Supporting the peer educator and facilitating their work for efficient and effective coverage of Targeted Community. Maintains of record of the outreach team and report. Ensure field Training of Peer Educators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager of Outreach Workers will be responsible for performing the following functions:
Monitoring & Supervision
• The ORW will be in charge of Outreach and supportive supervision of PEs, Counseling, linkages Etc.
•Should ensure at least 20 days of field visit in a month to assigned areas and to the nearest preferred providers, ICTCs/FICTCs were the referrals are made.
•ORW will ensure preparation of micro plans, risk & vulnerability analysis, Stakeholders analysis in coordination with PEs and M&E/Project Manager.
•Should ensure weekly peer diaries are maintained, monthly report collection form PEs, submission of own reports to be the project office.
•Ensure all new contacts of Peer Educators should be covered him.
Planning and Management
•The Outreach Worker ORW will responsible for preparing micro plans for each Hotspot, monitoring the implementation of the plans and review of the plans.
•Prepare monthly action plan.
Advocacy and Networking
The ORW will be in charge of stakeholder’s management to discuses and rope in support of the stakeholders in smooth implementation of the project area.
Reporting:
• Report to PM of the project.
• Provided data/information required for preparation of reports.
• Maintain records on referrals to other service, follow up register etc.
Salary and Allowances: The salary for the position of Outreach workers is Rs 10,500/- per month. In addition to the salary, Rs 1500/- per month is a local conveyance allowance for project-related local travels and Keeping two wheeler vehicles mandatory.
