Total Salary: -12,000 per month (10,500 Salary + 1,500 Travel Allowance)

About the Project:-

The Targeted Intervention (TI) Project is implemented under the guidance of the Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (UPSACS), aiming to prevent and control HIV/AIDS among high-risk populations through focused outreach, awareness, and service linkages.

Knowledge and Skills:-
• Should have strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in small teams, and flexible ways of working.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, case study compilation.
• At least 25 days in the field visit required.
• Capacity to monitor report and guide the team under him.

Summary of Key Functions:
The Outreach Workers will be responsible for service delivery at the field for behavior Change or service uptake. With Peer Educators and ORW has to plan, counseling session by counselor, clinic service by visiting physician or preferred providers, advocacy and networking with stake holders .Supporting the peer educator and facilitating their work for efficient and effective coverage of Targeted Community. Maintains of record of the outreach team and report. Ensure field Training of Peer Educators.

Duties and Responsibilities:-
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager of Outreach Workers will be responsible for performing the following functions:
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct regular outreach visits among the target community
Build Support and maintain regular contact with Beneficiaries
Mobilize individuals for HIV testing, STI services, and health programs
Promote safe practices and condom usage
Facilitate linkages with ICTC, ART Centres, and STI Clinics
Conduct group meetings and awareness sessions
Coordinate with Peer Educators for outreach activities
Maintain field records, registers, and reporting
Support community mobilization and address stigma-related issues

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Minimum 12th pass
Preference: Social Work / Sociology or related field
Two wheeler is required.

Experience:
1–3 years of experience in health or development sector
Experience with vulnerable populations preferred
Knowledge of Lucknow area will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:-
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in community settings
Willingness for field travel
Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS
Record keeping and reporting skills.
