OUTREACH Association of Volunteers for Rural Development, henceforth referred as OUTREACH, focuses on developing and promoting sustainable livelihoods, primarily through integrated natural resource management, organising Citizen Based Organisations, community mobilisation, watershed, livelihoods, forestry and agriculture. Required qualifications, expectation & experience
1. Age: 45 -55 years
2. Experience: Around 20-25 years out of which at least 15 years of senior executive leadership in the social sector.
3. Education: Master’s in Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy or Environmental Sciences
4. Proficiency in South Indian languages & English
5. Strategic leadership and vision alignment with the Board, and further developing 3–5-year plan to operationalise vision and strategies
6. Operational transformation while respecting the legacy of the organisation, understanding and nurturing its strengths.
7. Strengthening the existing verticals and projects, and developing new and complementary verticals
8. Head Operations, ensuring streamlined execution of projects, and meeting commitment to donors and other stakeholders
9. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance and oversee risk management frameworks through streamlined systems, processes and reviews.
10. Ensuring financial integrity by overseeing the budgets and internal controls to protect organisation assets.
11. Engage with existing donors, cultivate new donors and strategic partners aligned with vision and priorities of the organisation
12. Explore and bring in digital transformation through tech-adoption both in operations as well as in building solutions to scale Outreach’s work and methods
13. Proven ability to identify leverage points for large-scale institutional change including partnerships with government agencies.
14. Proven track record of leading operations at scale, integrating back-end functions such as HR, Finance, and IT to support increased complexity of large-scale projects
