The Associate – Finance will support day-to-day finance operations for schools and central teams in Mumbai & Nagpur, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and related documentation. The role entails accurate tracking of spend vs budgets, tracking and timely settlement of advances and ageing analysis of outstanding payments. The selected candidate will also support audits and statutory compliance, and work closely with other teams for budget reviews.

Reporting To : Manager – Finance

Responsibilities:
? Manage vendor payments and staff reimbursements on a day to day basis
? Ensure that all supporting documentation for payments is complete, accurate, and properly maintained for future audits and reviews
? Prepare and analyze quarterly utilization reports for review and discussion with schools and central teams
? Assist in compiling data and documentation for internal, statutory, and donor audits
? Download Form 16A and ensure timely distribution to the respective departments
? Collaborate with the team to ensure the efficient functioning of the Finance department
? Prepare monthly bank reconciliation

What you need for this Position:
Role requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting
? Minimum 2–3 years of experience in finance and accounting; experience in a non-profit organization will be preferred
? Working knowledge of Income Tax, PF, PT, TDS and other statutory compliances applicable to non-government organizations
? Familiarity with accounting software such as ERP systems, along with strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office applications.
? Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and changing requirements.
? Good communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
