"NIPUN"--a Hindi word meaning "one who is skilled"--is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2005 by a group of socially conscious development workers. Its primary aim is to enhance the quality of life for the poor and vulnerable. Children, youth, and women are its target groups, with physically and mentally challenged children and adults forming a priority category. Pre-school, non-formal and remedial education, community health programs, and the promotion of self-help groups are its major strategies.

NIPUN is seeking a dynamic candidate for the position of Program Manager to be based in Kapashera, South West Delhi, for its project on Early Childhood Care.

Position Overview:

The Program Manager will lead and oversee the implementation, management, and monitoring of the Azim Premji Foundation project. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, managing teams, ensuring project deliverables are met, and driving impact aligned with the foundation's vision for education and community development.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Implementation:
o Develop and execute project work plans, timelines, and budgets.
o Ensure alignment with the foundation's goals and objectives.

2. Team Management:
o Lead and mentor project teams to ensure effective execution.
o Assign responsibilities, provide guidance, and evaluate team performance.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Liaise with donors, partners, government agencies, and community leaders.
o Represent the project in meetings, events, and forums.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation:
o Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
o Regularly track progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions.

5. Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare and present periodic progress reports to stakeholders.
o Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities and financials, including MIS/KMS.

6. Capacity Building:
o Organize training and workshops for team members and community stakeholders.
o Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and knowledge sharing.

Key Qualifications:
* Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in the implementation of Early Childhood Care projects and Community Development.
* Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Hindi.
o Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
o Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
o Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Photoshop is an added advantage.

* Adaptable and capable of working in diverse environments including slums and J.J. Clusters
* Willing to travel as per the program requirements.

Work Location:
* Reporting to the Project Office of NIPUN at Kapashera, South West Delhi and Head Office at Nihal Vihar, West Delhi.
* Project location: South West Delhi.
Reporting To: Founder Secretary, NIPUN.
Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- (CTC) per month including TA/Communication.
