Role Overview:

The Senior Optometrist is responsible for performing detailed subjective refraction and refining vision assessments to determine accurate final prescriptions for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

? Perform subjective refraction using the trial box and related tools.
? Conduct monocular and binocular vision assessment for distance and near.
? Refine prescriptions using standard clinical techniques (e.g., JCC, Duochrome & Retinoscopy).
? Conduct colour vision testing and record findings.
? Accurately document final prescription and update records on the portal and forms.
? Ensure proper setup and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

? Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optometry.
? 3-4 years of clinical experience with strong refraction skills.
? Proficiency in subjective refraction techniques and diagnostic tools.

Preferred Skills:

Strong clinical judgment and accuracy.
Effective communication for feedback-based testing.
Attention to detail in prescription recording.

? Completeness and correctness of documentation.
