Job Title: Medical Officer (Community Health Program)

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Medical Officer to support a community-based health program focused on underserved populations, including villages,slums, migrant communities, and vulnerable groups. The role involves delivering primary healthcare services, strengthening community outreach, and contributing to preventive and promotive health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient consultations (OPD) and basic clinical care in community clinics
Diagnose and manage common illnesses, with appropriate referrals to higher centers when needed
Support maternal and child health, NCD screening, and management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes)
Conduct health camps and outreach services in slum and low-resource settings
Guide and supervise paramedical staff, community health workers, and volunteers
Maintain accurate medical records and reporting formats
Participate in health awareness and behavior change communication (BCC) activities
Coordinate with local government health systems and referral institutions

Required Qualifications & Experience
MBBS (mandatory); preference for candidates with experience in public health/community health
1-3 years of clinical experience (freshers with strong motivation may also apply)
Registration with State Medical Council
Experience working in resource-constrained settings will be an advantage

Desired Skills
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
Ability to work in field settings
Good communication skills (Hindi essential; local language preferred)
Commitment to working with marginalized populations
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation

Compensation: Rs.72000/- Per month ( No other allowance).
