About the Organization:
JSLPS, an autonomous body under the Department of Rural Development, Government of Jharkhand, is leading an initiative to strengthen rural livelihoods by mobilizing women into SHGs and federations, with a special focus on goat farming in Hazaribagh , Koderma , Giridih & Chatra districts with the Head Quarter at Hazaribagh district.
This women-led Swarn Adivasi Mahila Kisan Producer Company , Address – Hno-91 PO-Lupung , PS-Katkamsandi, Hedlag , Hazaribagh , 825301 , Jharkhand . Swarn Adivasi Mahila Kisan Producer Company (FPC) has been established by SHG members to build a sustainable, inclusive, and commercially viable goat value chain. Its operations include goat aggregation, breed improvement, feed production, animal healthcare services, and marketing of live goats and processed meat. The initiative aims to increase household incomes, strengthen women’s entrepreneurship, and serve as a replicable model for livestock-based livelihoods in rural Jharkhand.
Brief about the position
Swarn Adivasi Mahila Kisan Producer Company has recruit Head - Finance & Accounts. The Company will mostly work for Goat rearing women farmers members which involve procurement, processing and marketing of the commodity and the value-added products to be manufactured by the Producer Company.
Responsibilities:
The Head - Finance & Accounts will be responsible for:
• Responsible for the accounts and Finance department.
• Timely and qualitative preparation and submission of financial reports to the management.
• Compile, review and analyze monthly, quarterly and full year forecasts in a timely manner.
• Manage the cash flows of the company by constant monitoring of inventory, accounts receivables and payables.
• Continuous improvements in the existing systems of Producer Companies Financial Procedures through reviewing the current procedures regularly.
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors, bankers, Tax Agents etc.
• Reviewing company's capital investments and suggesting other profitable future opportunities.
• Monitor and provide guidance to company management to ensure statutory compliance related to Registrar of Companies / Tax Authorities / Import Export Authority / Department of Weights and Measures/Customs etc.
• Timely Submission of Utilization Certificate to be given to the Grant Donor.
• Implementing financial and related strategies that help the company in achieving its targeted growth rate.
• Implementing and suggesting financial tools and other IT tools which helps in proper recording and maintaining the information used in the business.
Qualification and Experience Required:
• Post graduate/Graduate degree with accounting/finance/commerce as major subjects from recognized university
• Qualified/Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accounts will be desirable
• Minimum post qualification relevant experience of 6-8 years of reputed commercial organization
• Strong Knowledge of Accounting, Book Keeping, Direct and Indirect Taxation
• Knowledge of Company Secretarial work will be preferable
• Good command in English and Hindi
• Expert in Computer applications with command in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a manufacturing set up (Agri/Animal based)
• Candidates with experience in ERP based environment will be preferred
The position will be at PE headquarters with need-based travelling to rural locations. The salary is commensurable with current salary, experience and industry standards.
