Required Accountant

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
Prepare vouchers, cash books, bank books, and ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain project-wise and donor-wise financial records.
Ensure proper utilization and accounting of grant funds.
Prepare Utilization Certificates (UCs), Statements of Expenditure (SOEs), and donor reports.
Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits.
Maintain asset registers and inventory records.
Ensure compliance with NGO, CSR, and donor financial guidelines.
Prepare financial documents for funding agencies and government departments.
Support procurement and payment processing activities.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Knowledge of NGO accounting, grant management, and fund accounting.
Experience in handling CSR, Government, and donor-funded projects.
Understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Ability to prepare audit-ready financial records.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Qualification:

B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the NGO/Development Sector.
