About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated, culturally sensitive, and results-driven Community Mobilizer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in rural development and grassroots organizing.

This role is completely field-based within the Uday Society unit in Badi Dhamini. To ensure convenient daily travel across the rural areas of Jhabua District, Madhya Pradesh, we are only accepting applications from candidates residing within 10 km of village Badi Dhamini or within 5 km of Thandla block.

Key Responsibilities:

Rural Community Engagement: Establish and maintain strong, respectful relationships with village leaders (Sarpanchs), traditional community elders, youth groups, and women's self-help groups (SHGs) across rural Jhabua.

Field Visits: Conduct frequent village visits to assess grassroots needs and map village resources.

Program Mobilization: Organize and facilitate village meetings, focus group discussions, and social awareness campaigns to mobilize community members for project activities.

Sustainability: Identify and mentor local village volunteers or community champions to foster local ownership and long-term project sustainability.

Reporting: Collect qualitative and quantitative field data, track project progress, and provide regular, detailed field updates and high-quality reports to the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Community Mobilizer, Field Officer, or equivalent role specifically within rural/tribal development sectors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), Sociology, Rural Development, or a related field (extensive field experience in rural MP may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Language & Culture: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory. Proficiency or working knowledge of local Bhili/Bhilali dialects is highly preferred. Deep respect for the unique cultural heritage and traditions of Jhabua is essential.

Local Geography: Familiarity with the blocks and rural terrain of Jhabua District

Logistics: Must possess a valid two-wheeler license and a personal vehicle, with a willingness to travel extensively to remote rural villages.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary will be based on experience (Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate and will be decided based on the candidate's total years of experience, field expertise, and interview performance).
