Job Summary

The NGO Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring the effective implementation of programs, and maintaining smooth administrative and operational functions. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements, managing resources, and supporting the achievement of the organization's mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operations and administrative activities of the NGO.
Monitor the implementation of projects and ensure activities are completed within the approved timelines and budgets.
Lead, guide, and supervise staff, volunteers, and support personnel to ensure effective performance.
Coordinate with government departments, donors, corporate partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor guidelines, statutory regulations, and legal requirements.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to projects, administration, and operations.
Prepare periodic operational, project progress, and performance reports for senior management.
Assist in planning, budgeting, and effective utilization of organizational resources.
Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and facility maintenance.
Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and adherence to organizational policies.
Support the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions when required.
Organize meetings, training sessions, and awareness programs as directed by management.
Ensure the safety, security, and proper maintenance of organizational assets and infrastructure.
Perform any other duties assigned by senior management in support of the organization's objectives.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in NGO operations, administration, project management, or a similar supervisory role.

Experience working with community development, social welfare, education, healthcare, or livelihood projects is an advantage.

Knowledge of NGO operations, compliance requirements, and project management.
