Job Vacancy Announcement Development Support Centre (DSC) About DSC & the Project :

Development Support Centre (DSC) is a multi-state resource organization promoting participatory natural resource management (PNRM) and sustainable livelihoods (SL) through community-driven development initiatives.

DSC invites applications from experienced professionals for 3 years Water and WASH project.

Posting Location: Nawapur (Nandurbar District) (Maharashtra)

Open Positions

Position	Experience	Qualification	Key Roles & Responsibilities
Project Coordinator	7 to 10 years	Master's/Bachelor's in Rural Development, Agriculture, Social Work, Engineering or related field	Lead project implementation, supervise field team, prepare work plans, coordinate WASH, NRM and irrigation activities, ensure quality implementation, monitor progress, prepare donor reports, MIS and documentation, coordinate with stakeholders and government departments.
Agriculture Expert	5 to 8 years	B.Sc./M.Sc. Agriculture or B.Tech Agricultural Engineering	Plan climate-resilient agriculture interventions, promote improved package of practices, irrigation efficiency, crop diversification, demonstrations, Farmer Field Schools, water-efficient technologies, soil health management and livelihood enhancement.
Civil/Agriculture Engineer	3 to 6 years	B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering	Design and supervise water harvesting structures, wells, farm ponds, check dams, recharge structures and irrigation systems, prepare estimates, ensure quality control, maintain measurements, train local masons and support technical documentation.
Community Organizer	2 to 5 years	Graduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Agriculture or related discipline	Mobilize communities, facilitate Sujal Samiti, VWSCs, SHGs and Water User Groups, organize meetings and trainings, conduct awareness programmes on water conservation, sanitation and behaviour change, ensure participation of women and vulnerable households.
WASH Expert	5 to 8 years	Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Public Health, Rural Development or related field	Lead drinking water, sanitation and hygiene interventions, plan greywater management systems, strengthen operation and maintenance systems, oversee water quality monitoring, school WASH, IEC campaigns and capacity building.
Convergence Officer	5 to 8 years	Graduate/Postgraduate in Rural Development, Social Work, Agriculture or Public Administration	Coordinate with Government Departments, mobilize convergence under MGNREGA, JJM, SBM, PMKSY and other schemes, prepare proposals, facilitate approvals, document convergence models and support resource mobilization.

Compensation & Terms

Remuneration: Negotiable based on qualification, competencies, and experience.
All positions are contractual for the project duration (of 3 years).
Preference will be given to women candidates and professionals from Maharashtra and nearby locations from Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
