Jan Sahbhagi Vikas Kendra (JSVK) invites applications from dedicated, compassionate and child-friendly professionals for engagement in the 50-bedded Child Care Institution (CCI) for Boys, Jamtara, under Mission Vatsalya.

The institution functions on a 24×7 residential basis; therefore, selected candidates must be willing to stay on the campus and provide continuous care and protection to children in need of care and protection, in accordance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, JJ Model Rules, 2016, and Mission Vatsalya Guidelines.

Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
Preference to candidates having knowledge of Child Psychology, Child Rights or Residential Child Care.

Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in Hostel, Residential School, Child Care Institution or similar residential facility.

Responsibilities
24×7 care and supervision of children.
Daily routine management.
Behaviour management.
Emotional support.
Escort children to school, hospital and official visits.
Ensure safety, discipline and hygiene.

General Eligibility

Applicants must:
Be between 21-45 years (relaxation as per applicable norms).
Be physically and mentally fit.
Have good moral character.
Be free from any criminal record, especially offences against children.
Be willing to reside within the institution campus.
Be able to work on rotational shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
Undergo Police Verification and Medical Fitness before joining.

Employment Conditions
Appointment will be purely contractual under Mission Vatsalya.
The selected candidates shall be required to stay in the institution premises, as the CCI operates on a 24×7 residential care model.
Free lodging and boarding (food) will be provided by the organization.
The engagement may be renewed based on performance, conduct and continuation of the project.
