Organization Overview
ETASHA Society, a not-for-profit organization committed to preparing adolescents and youth from underserved communities for sustainable livelihoods and future employment, is seeking a Development Counsellor for its Adolescent Well-being and Success (AWS) Programme. The interventions covered empower school-going adolescents through life skills education, career counselling, and structured career guidance to help them complete their education, build self-reliance and make informed career choices.

About the Role
The position is based with the Central Team in South Delhi and requires frequent travel to schools and project locations across Delhi NCR, along with travel to other cities based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Conducting Career Guidance and Life Skills Development Programs:
•Conducting Workshops, Seminars and Training Programs for students and orientation programs and supportive sessions for teachers and parents.
•Ensuring high quality training.

2.Content Development and updating existing TLM:
•Developing and updating content on Life Skills, Career Guidance and counselling.
•Developing new programs and content
•Reading extensively and adding to the Careers Library.
•Assisting in development of new Life Skills programs and workshops.
•Writing anonymous case histories for Funder Reports, Website and Media.

3.Counselling and Mentoring students
•In the face-to-face format.
•Online through Keh Dalo Helpline.

4.Coordinating with schools
a.Getting permissions from school principals and coordinating with School coordinator to schedule Sessions & Workshops as required.

5.Documentation & Reporting Management:
a. Prepare case studies, success stories, and impact documentation for donor reports, organizational publications, the website, and media.
b. Ensuring that the data relating to all programs is complete and accurate and appropriately analysed for reporting and strategy making.

You are the person we are looking for if you-
•Are passionate about empowering adolescents and youth from underserved communities.
•Believe in the transformative role of education, life skills, and career guidance.
•Have experience of using participatory, interactive, and experiential learning methodologies with groups.
•Have excellent facilitation, counselling, communication and interpersonal skills.
•Are empathetic, patient and able to build strong relationships with students, teachers and parents.
•Possess strong coordination, documentation and report-writing skills.
•Enjoy developing educational content and continuously learning about careers, education pathways and youth development.
•Are proficient in MS Office and comfortable using digital tools for programme implementation and reporting.
•Can communicate effectively in both Hindi and English.
•Are willing to travel frequently across Delhi NCR and occasionally to other cities.
•Are flexible to occasionally travel early in the morning for school sessions.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience-
•Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or a related discipline.
•Prior experience in career counselling, life skills education, adolescent development, education, or community-based programmes will be preferred.
•Experience working with government schools or non-profit organizations will be an advantage.
The remuneration will range between Rs.27,000/ – Rs.30,000/- per month (CTC), depending upon skills and experience.
