Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – FPO
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Rural Management, Agricultural Economics, Horticulture, Forestry, or a any other discipline.
3–7 years of experience in managing FPOs/FPCs, agribusiness, value chain development, rural livelihoods, or producer collectives.
Demonstrated experience in business development, input output marketing, market linkages, and value chain promotion.
Experience in working with Boards of Directors, conducting AGMs, statutory compliance, and governance of Producer Companies will be preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, MIS, and report writing.
Willingness to travel extensively within the project area.
Responsibilities
Lead the overall operations and business growth of the FPO.
Strengthen input supply, aggregation, value addition, and market linkages.
Develop business partnerships and identify new market opportunities.
Increase business turnover, member participation, and share capital.
Ensure statutory compliance, governance, and transparent financial management.
Organize Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and maintain statutory records.
Prepare and implement business plans, budgets, and MIS reports.
Build the capacity of the Board of Directors and producer members.
Coordinate with government agencies, financial institutions, buyers, and other stakeholders.
Lead the project team to achieve business and project targets.

The CEO will lead and manage project operations, focusing on strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), improving farm productivity, building agri-value chains, and ensuring sustainable market linkages.

Salary: 20,000- 25,000/- pm
