About the Project:
The project - MINE: Migrant Initiatives for Northeast is specifically conceptualized for the migrant youths of Northeast seeking better opportunities in Goa. It is a humble effort of the MSMHC through FDEWS to bring together the disintegrated force, linking the Source and the Destination and aspiring for a dignified life of the individuals and that of their family with the aim to curbing the menace of human trafficking and loss of lives.
We are seeking applications from candidates for one of our multi-state projects currently in Goa and Mizoram (later to be scaled to other Northeastern states).

Job Title: Project Coordinator (PC)
Location: Goa, India
Position Number: 01 (One)

Role Description:
The Project Coordinator (PC) will be the main point person responsible for implementation of day-to-day activities at the field level in the two level – Goa and Mizoram. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for developing Action Plans and ensuring their implementation accordingly in both the states. He/ She will supervise the other staff engaged in the project and coordinate the work with various departments in Goa. Will ensure timely deliverable of the Action Plan under the direct supervision of the Project Manager

Key Tasks and Deliverables:
• Lead the Mine Project program in the state of Goa and Mizoram and work closely with the team members in achieving the objectives of the project.
• Apply integrated multi-disciplinary approaches to meet project management needs.
• Develop implementation plans to foster strategic partnerships with external partner institutions, departments, private sector, academia and CSOs in the specific thematic areas based on strategic goals and priorities of the project.
• Collaborate in the preparation of annual plans & reports, presentations, brochures and other communication material for stakeholder engagement.
• Strategize and plan for mobilizing and organizing migrants from Northeast for decent living in the state of Goa
• Plan, implement and monitor the project in the states with northeast migrants, migrant groups and communities.
• Enhance Capacities and mentor the Outreach workers designated in the project based on the project requirements
• Support the Project Manager and team to establish Migrant Facilitation Centers both at Goa and Mizoram
• Identify strategic program areas of cooperation, and key areas for capacity building and intuitional strengthening and collaboration.
• Prepare report on progress (physical, financial and other relevant indicators and formats) and flag issues to the Project Manager from time to time for corrective measures and course correction
• Facilitate linkages with other service Centres and ensure liaison with different departments at the state level
• Responsible for establishing a system and structure cutting across all levels and achievement of Project Indicators
• Plan and execute field support visits of self and that of the Staff during training, orientation and actual sessions
• Establish and administer the database at the Project level
• Represent FDEWS at internal and external forums as and when required by the management
• Engage in dialogues and lead communication with the government and other partners as and when required.

Qualifications and Competencies:
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English
• Subject knowledge on Migration, Human Trafficking, Rescue and Rehabilitation
• Having experience working in coordination with different departments/ Urban Departments and service centers
• Substantial knowledge regarding program management at field level and handling a team
• Experience of working in the development sector, preferably with informal workers and labor issues especially in context to Goa
• Skills in community mobilization, capacity building, program planning and management.
• Excellent mobilizing and organizing skills to implement programs at the community level.
• Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations, adhere to deadlines and ability to adapt within the working environment. ?

Remuneration/Package/Benefits:
Maximum limit up to 35000/- per month based on experience
