Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – History

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
• Teach History to senior secondary classes in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and learning resources.
• Conduct engaging classroom sessions using modern teaching methodologies.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain academic records and support examination-related work.
• Participate in school assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, and co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic standards and student outcomes.
• Maintain discipline and contribute to the overall development of students.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
• Minimum Qualification: M.A. in History with B.Ed.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Sound knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and teaching practices.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and digital teaching tools is desirable.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.

Compensation
Expected Remuneration: Rs 25,000/- per month in first contract year (Consolidated).
