Position: Accountant
Project: Mahila Panchayat Project
Reporting To: Project Coordinator / Finance Manager / General Secretary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational financial guidelines, preparing financial reports, and supporting the smooth financial management of the Mahila Panchayat Project.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
Preference for candidates with M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualifications.
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the NGO/development sector.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and other financial management systems.
Understanding of NGO accounting, donor compliance, and statutory regulations.
