Location: Mission Development Office-Nagpur
The Society of the Good Shepherd – CEI Province, through its Mission Development Office (MDO-CEI), invites applications from committed, dynamic, and passionate candidates for the position of Community Organizer to support its community development and child protection initiatives in Nagpur.

Key Responsibilities
• Mobilize communities and facilitate the formation and strengthening of Children's Parliament (CP) and Village Child Protection Committee and Rights (VCPCR) groups, ensuring regular meetings and active participation.
• Conduct regular field visits, community surveys, and stakeholder meetings to identify community needs and strengthen project implementation.
• Build and maintain effective networking with government departments, schools, NGOs, community leaders, and local institutions.
• Implement project activities according to approved work plans and ensure timely achievement of project targets.
• Organize community awareness programmes, trainings, and capacity-building activities on child rights, protection, education, health, and community development.
• Collect project data, maintain documentation, prepare reports, and document success stories for monitoring and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding standards, and the Code of Conduct.
• Support transparent programme implementation and perform any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator or Management.
Eligibility
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW), Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Rural Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community development or the NGO sector (freshers with relevant qualifications and commitment may also apply).
• Good communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of English, Konkani, and Hindi (knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage).
• Willingness to travel within the project area.

Salary
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per organizational norms.
