Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days WFH per week)
Reporting to: Finance Lead
Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will oversee finance operations for FIND India, ensuring compliance with statutory, donor, and organizational requirements. The role will lead financial reporting, budgeting, audits, donor management, internal controls, payroll oversight, and financial planning while supporting the Finance Lead in strategic financial management and process improvements across the organization.
JobResponsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Lead monthly and annual financial closings and preparation of financial statements.
- Review accounting records, reconciliations, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies
- Preparation & finalization of Yearly Accounts (Receipts & Payments a/c, Income & Expenditure a/c, Balance Sheet).
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support development and monitoring of organizational and project budgets.
- Prepare forecasts, variance analyses, and re-budgeting exercises.
- Monitor budget utilization and provide financial insights to management.
Audit, Compliance & Controls:
- Coordinate for internal Audit/Statutory Audit/Project Audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and donor requirements.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and implement audit recommendations.
Donor/Partner Management:
- Prepare periodic financial reports as per the norms defined by the donor including Cash/Fund Reconciliation, Progress-Updates and Disbursement Request etc.
- Prepare donor budgets, re-budgeting, closure plans etc.
- Provide financial guidance and support across functions.
- Preparing consolidated financial report for the project for Finance Lead’s review.
Others:
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of the budget/s and forecast for FIND India
- Establish and maintain supplier / vendor and project specific accounts.
- Assist in preparing various reports for HQ.
- Any other responsibilities as identified from time to time by the Organization.
Qualifications,SkillsandExperiencerequired:
- CA/ CMA/ MBA (Finance)
- 5+ years of post-qualification finance experience, preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, audits, donor compliance, and statutory regulations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- WorkingknowledgeofaccountingsoftwareNavisionisanadditionaladvantage.
Nature of Appointment:
This is a full-time position with an initial contract term until 31 March 2027, renewable subject to performance and project needs.
